Discover the Vibrant Art of Richard Mille RM68-01 Graffiti Tourbillon

The Richard Mille RM68-01 Graffiti Tourbillon is not just a watch; it’s a striking piece of art for your wrist. This innovative creation results from a collaboration with renowned Brazilian graffiti artist Cyril Kongo, showcasing a unique blend of mechanical precision and visual artistry.

Crafted with upgraded zirconium oxide ceramic and carbon fiber, the watch features an ultra-thin case of just 14mm, making it both lightweight and durable. The barrel-shaped case gets a subtle transformation with its titanium design, complemented by NTPT carbon fiber details and a black ceramic bezel.

Kongo’s artistic touch extends to the movement’s bridges, mimicking graffiti strokes in various angles and shapes. Each component bears bold graffiti symbols and vibrant hues, seamlessly integrated into the watch’s exquisite mechanics. The tourbillon architecture is positioned at the 6 o’clock mark, with arrow-shaped hands providing a smooth, natural contour.

Applying graffiti onto intricate movement parts posed a challenge, met by over a year of experimentation with custom tools and paints. Using a unique airbrush, Kongo ensured each droplet was precisely controlled, maintaining the movement’s balance and operation. The special paint adheres perfectly to titanium surfaces, remaining unfazed by disassembly and guaranteeing everlasting color.

Powered by the RM Tourbillon movement with a frequency of 28800vph and a 48-hour power reserve, the watch reveals an intricate graffiti pattern on the movement’s baseplate through its sapphire crystal case back. This design radiates from the center outward, emulating paint splattered across a wall, an ode to Kongo’s street art inspiration.
