The Artistic Masterpiece: Richard Mille RM68-01 Tourbillon Watch!

The Richard Mille RM68-01 Tourbillon is not just a timepiece; it’s a true work of art on your wrist. This exceptional watch results from a collaboration with Brazilian graffiti artist Cyril Kongo, who infuses each piece with dynamic street art touches. The movement bridges are styled to mimic graffiti strokes, featuring vibrant backgrounds and symbols that seamlessly blend mechanical precision with visual artistry.

The watch’s barrel-shaped case has been slightly modified, crafted from Grade 5 titanium, complemented by an NTPT carbon fiber bezel and black ceramic bezel. The curved arrow-shaped hands sweep naturally across the dial, while the tourbillon mechanism sits elegantly at the 6 o’clock position.

In a process that took over a year to perfect, Cyril Kongo experimented with various painting tools and pigments. A specialized airbrush was used to apply tiny droplets of color, ensuring the paint’s weight and balance did not affect the movement’s performance. The unique pigments adhere firmly to the titanium components, remaining unfaded and unaffected by assembly or disassembly.

Powered by the RM Tourbillon movement, the watch offers a frequency of 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours. Through the sapphire crystal case back, one can admire the movement’s baseplate, adorned with vivid graffiti hues that radiate from the center, reminiscent of paint splattering against a wall.
