The RM 27-05 Flying Tourbillon Rafael Nadal watch is the latest collaboration between RICHARD MILLE and the renowned tennis player Rafael Nadal. This exquisite timepiece is a marvel of engineering, boasting a weight of only 38 grams, including the strap, and a case thickness of approximately 9 mm. Its dimensions are 37.25 x 47.25 x 9 mm, making it both ultra-light and ultra-thin.

Crafted from an innovative carbon composite material known as ‘Carbon TPT® B.4,’ this watch took five years to develop. The material features a 4% increase in density, 15% improved fiber hardness, and 30% enhanced resin strength compared to conventional Carbon TPT®. These advancements ensure that the RM 27-05 can withstand impacts of up to 14,000g, making it the lightest and most robust tourbillon watch ever created.

To further reduce weight, the watch features a PMMA ultra-light polymer glass, replacing the traditional sapphire crystal. This substitution not only lightens the watch but also enhances transparency and provides superior anti-glare properties.

The openwork skeleton dial showcases a unique geometric mechanical aesthetic, with prominent V-shaped bridge plates and tourbillon bridges creating a striking visual impact. The skeletonized barrel allows a direct view of the winding status, with gear assemblies at 2 o’clock and 8 o’clock perfectly interlocking to display precision and artistry.
