Richard Mille has revealed a striking new timepiece, the RM38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson, designed in collaboration with professional golfer Bubba Watson. This unique watch showcases a vibrant pink theme inspired by Watson’s favored PING driver, capturing the excitement and dynamism of the sport.

The watch’s bezel and caseback are crafted from a pink and white quartz TPT composite, while the middle case is made with carbon fiber and pink quartz TPT, creating a one-of-a-kind interwoven texture for each piece. The tonneau-shaped case ensures a comfortable and secure fit on the wrist, with the crown featuring a clever design that mimics the dimples of a golf ball, adding a playful touch.

The openwork dial allows wearers to admire the full mechanics of the movement, featuring a skeletonized bridge that forms a transverse ‘V’ shape. The pink hand-painted pattern draws inspiration from the head of Watson’s golf club. The tourbillon structure located at the 6 o’clock position can withstand impacts up to 10,000g, ensuring stability even during high-speed swings.

Powered by the RM38-02 manual winding movement, this watch operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of up to 52 hours. The movement’s baseplate is crafted from carbon fiber, providing excellent shock resistance. The bridges are made from durable Grade 5 titanium, with pink accents incorporated into the decoration on the back.
