Renowned watchmaker RICHARD MILLE introduces the striking RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson, a timepiece born from an exciting collaboration with professional golfer Bubba Watson. This new creation bursts with a unique pink theme, inspired by Watson’s favorite PING driver, offering a bright and joyful appearance.
The watch features a bezel and caseback crafted from a composite of pink and white quartz TPT carbon, while the mid-case combines carbon fiber with pink quartz TPT. Each case showcases a one-of-a-kind interwoven texture that enhances its visual appeal. The tonneau-shaped case ensures a snug, comfortable fit on the wrist, with a cleverly designed crown that mimics the textured appearance of a golf ball, adding a playful touch.
The open-worked dial allows wearers to appreciate the full motion of the movement within, highlighted by a horizontally arranged ‘V’-shaped skeletonized bridge. Hand-painted pink designs mimic the club head used by Watson, adding a personal touch. The tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock can withstand impacts up to 10,000g, ensuring stability even at high speeds.
Powered by the RM 38-02 manual winding movement, this watch operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 52 hours. The movement features a carbon fiber baseplate, renowned for its excellent shock resistance. The bridges, made from robust Grade 5 titanium, incorporate pink accents into their architecture, providing both strength and style.
