With the Ref.5226G-001, Patek Philippe revisits this classic design with a contemporary twist, adding the signature Clous de Paris guilloché pattern on the case edges. This intricate pattern, a hallmark of Patek Philippe, reappeared in the 2021 Calatrava Clous de Paris watch Ref.6119. Designers have ingeniously developed a unique case structure that seamlessly integrates the lugs with the case back, allowing the Clous de Paris pattern to fully cover the case sides.
