The PPF factory unveils its latest technological marvel, the Cal.26-330SC movement, marking a significant leap from its predecessor, the 324 movement. This new caliber embodies a series of enhancements and refinements, setting a new standard in watchmaking.

The heart of the 330SC movement lies in its integrated module design, where all components such as the balance wheel, gears, and hairspring are upgraded. The craftsmanship on the rotor is exquisite, with laser-engraved fonts and Geneva stripes alongside fish-scale decorations on the bridges, adding an aesthetic and high-end feel.

A notable change in the 330 movement is the transformation of the automatic rotor. The modification to a smoother crescent-shaped angle offers enhanced functionality. An innovative feature includes a ruby bearing addition to the rotor’s center shaft locking mechanism, providing safety improvements over traditional screws.

Another crucial advancement in the 330SC movement is the introduction of a functional transmission wheel, now upgraded from decorative silver to a genuine gold wheel. This wheel is part of a perfected four-stage acceleration system involving the mainspring, third wheel, fourth wheel, and escape wheel that stabilizes torque during acceleration, improving power transmission efficiency and reducing second hand jitter.

The most significant addition to the 330 movement is the hack mechanism. Using a traditional chain, it stops the balance wheel when the crown is pulled out, while a slight pulse generated upon pushing the crown back helps to restart the escape module, ensuring precise timekeeping.
