Once in a while, a watch release comes along that seems to grant all our horological wishes at once. Enter the Audemars Piguet 50th Anniversary edition Ref. 15510ST, which brings not one but five dial color variants to delight every watch enthusiast.
The 41mm Ref. 15510ST offers hues ranging from blue (15510ST.01) and black (15510ST.02) to white (15510ST.03) and grey (15510ST.05). The star of the show, however, is the fresh and alluring green dial (15510ST.04), reminiscent of Audemars Piguet’s iconic brand color.
While maintaining the classic 1972 design, the new edition features subtle tweaks in the case, dial, and bracelet. The case now boasts enlarged beveled edges for improved proportions. Enhanced satin finishes beautifully contrast with the polished elements, creating a compelling play of light and shadow.
The fondly familiar square pattern remains on the dial. However, the 12 o’clock position now showcases a 24K gold three-dimensional ‘Audemars Piguet’ logo, crafted using an electroplating process akin to 3D printing, replacing the previous ‘AP’ emblem and printed logo.
Flip the watch over, and you’ll find a 22K rose gold rotor celebrating the ’50th Anniversary.’ Skillfully openworked, it displays both the anniversary and Audemars Piguet logos while continuing the theme of satin and polished finishes.
The redesigned bracelet adds to the comfort with its tapered, lightweight links. The transformation from parallelogram to trapezoid shapes in the first four links enhances the watch’s elegance and flow, making it sit effortlessly on the wrist.
Thanks to ZF’s prompt action, you can now collect all five colors without delay. This release ensures there’s a perfect match for every wrist and style preference.
