Discover the Art of Graffiti on Your Wrist: Richard Mille RM68-01 Tourbillon

The Richard Mille RM68-01 Tourbillon is more than just a timepiece; it’s a masterpiece of wrist art. Collaborating with renowned Brazilian graffiti artist Cyril Kongo, this watch blends the mechanical precision of a tourbillon with the vibrant, dynamic strokes of street art. Each bridge in the movement is a canvas, showcasing bold colors and graffiti symbols, creating a stunning visual and mechanical harmony.

This exceptional timepiece features a subtly transformed tonneau-shaped case crafted from Grade 5 titanium, complemented by an ‘NTPT’ carbon fiber bezel ring and a black ceramic bezel. Its sleek profile, only 14mm thin, is a testament to Richard Mille’s dedication to precision and style.

The standout feature of this watch is its meticulously painted movement components. Cyril Kongo spent over a year experimenting with tools and paints, developing a special airbrush technique that sprays tiny droplets of pigment. This method ensures that the paint perfectly adheres to the titanium components without affecting the watch’s balance and operation. The unique pigments used resist fading and remain undisturbed even during assembly and disassembly.

The RM tourbillon movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of 48 hours. Through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, the vibrant graffiti patterns radiate from the center, mimicking the splash of paint on a wall, adding another layer of intrigue and artistry to the watch.
