Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms family has welcomed a new star with the ZF Limited Edition watch, model 5008. Known for its practical features tailored for divers, the Fifty Fathoms series stands out with its large luminous markers and hands that contrast strongly against the black dial and unidirectional rotating bezel.

The sturdy steel case with a soft iron interior layer protects the movement from magnetic fields, while the unidirectional ratchet mechanism on the rotating bezel is equipped with a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal bezel. To ensure visibility in various environments, the markers, scale indicators, and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova®.

The date is cleverly positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock, preserving the watch’s recognizable DNA. Above the 6 o’clock position on the dial, the signature bi-color white and orange humidity indicator, affectionately called the “little sun” by enthusiasts, gives a cautionary signal if moisture enters the watch—turning from white to red.
