Artisans de Genève has unveiled a stunning custom Rolex Daytona known as the “Scona.” This dazzling timepiece features a captivating blue dial that combines elegance with a refreshing aesthetic.
The ceramic bezel and dial give an unexpectedly impressive look, characterized by its fresh appeal. The azure lacquer dial is paired beautifully with white concentric sub-dials and a midnight blue ceramic bezel, reminiscent of both sky and seaside vistas, that is truly pleasing to the eyes.
The newly developed midnight blue ceramic is embedded into the bezel surface, enhancing the watch’s allure. The right side of the dial features the tachymeter scale with the “TACHYMETRE” lettering filled in a harmonious azure color. The ceramic material, known for its durability and abrasion resistance, along with its ever-fresh color, adds a striking visual element to the modified watch.
Underneath, the watch hosts a modified 4130 movement, meticulously dismantled and refined by the bespoke watch brand. The bridges have been skeletonized and chamfer-polished for a more luxurious texture.
The rotor, crafted from heavy metal, boasts a circular Geneva wave decoration with the brand’s name engraved along the edge. The rotor’s blue hue, achieved through PVD coating, ensures that the movement and dial details share an elegant blue theme.
