Firstly, the casing comes from a dedicated mold that captures the essence of the original with a ‘sandwich’ structure. The interior blue side slots and protruding blue ears at the crown position create a distinctive look and add complexity to the manufacturing process. After ten painstaking months of adjustments, we achieved perfection using 316L stainless steel, eschewing low-cost plastic molds.

The watch face is a work of art with blue yacht numerals formed through oil-filled cavities. Each numeral is designed to match the original height, ensuring both high costs and low yields. It features a magnifying lens underlay for the date window using sapphire, aligning it with the original specifications for premium clarity.

Crafted from a solid block of sapphire, this piece boasts a large curve and high transparency. The process begins with a sapphire raw material of 40 by 50mm and thickness over 15mm. This is expertly ground to align perfectly with the watch’s curved case, leading to high rejection rates and select few pieces passing quality checks.

The diamond-studded clasp is a mirror of the original full-pavé V45 design, ensuring ease of wear. The plain case version uses a folding clasp that complements the watch’s classic aesthetics. The curved hands hug the watch face and work in tandem with the original 8215 movement, offering precise timekeeping and stable quality with an ergonomic curved case design that rests comfortably on the wrist.

Finally, the upgraded rubber strap is both softer and more comfortable than ever before. It’s the only version in the market that can be paired with the original watch strap, inviting you to experience the Franck Muller V45 Yachting series in its full glory.
