RICHARD MILLE has teamed up with British supercar manufacturer McLaren to unveil their latest masterpiece: the RM 65-01 McLaren W1 Automatic Winding Chronograph. Inspired by the striking McLaren W1 supercar, this watch combines cutting-edge design and high-performance functionality.

The RM 65-01 features a unique barrel-shaped case inspired by the elegant lines of the McLaren W1. The case showcases a dual-layer bezel, with the top layer crafted from Carbon TPT® carbon fiber, presenting a distinctive texture for each piece, and the bottom layer made of polished grade 5 titanium, as thin as 0.5mm.

Bringing a bold racing vibe, the watch integrates vivid elements of orange, yellow, and blue. The skeletonized titanium dial takes cues from the W1 supercar’s wheel rim, with colorful details reminiscent of a supercar’s dashboard. Yellow adorns the hour, minute, and small seconds hands at 6 o’clock, while orange graces the 30-minute and 12-hour counters, and the chronographic second scale is highlighted in blue.

At the heart of the timepiece is the RMAC4 automatic movement, offering a 60-hour power reserve. The movement’s baseplate and bridges are crafted from grade 5 titanium, ensuring precision timing up to 1/10th of a second. The date is displayed vertically at the 11 o’clock position on the dial.

The watch is offered with a choice of black or orange rubber straps, designed with aerodynamic grooves inspired by the air intakes on the W1’s engine hood.
