Artisans de Genève has unveiled their latest custom masterpiece, the Scona Rolex Daytona, featuring a captivating blue dial. This timepiece brings an unexpected freshness and elegance to the iconic Rolex design.
The watch boasts a unique combination of a turquoise dial with white concentric sub-dials and a midnight blue ceramic bezel, reminiscent of serene sky and coastal vistas. The midnight blue ceramic is a newly developed material that is embedded into the surface of the bezel, adding a durable and visually striking element thanks to its scratch-resistant properties.
At the top right of the dial, the tachymeter scale is highlighted with the word ‘TACHYMETRE,’ filled in a turquoise hue that complements the dial’s lacquer color. The craftsmanship extends to the movement, where the modified 4130 caliber is disassembled and refined by the brand. Bridges are skeletonized and beveled, enhancing the overall elegance of the watch.
The rotor, crafted from heavy metal, is adorned with circular Geneva waves and engraved with the brand’s name on its edge. The rotor’s blue color is achieved using PVD technology, creating a harmonious blue tone that matches the dial and other detailed elements of the timepiece.
