Discover the Ultra-Light Richard Mille RM 27-02 Tourbillon Watch!

The Richard Mille RM 27-02 is a masterpiece crafted exclusively for tennis legend Rafael Nadal. Its ultra-lightweight case and exceptional stability allow it to endure the immense acceleration experienced during high-impact moments, like those faced by athletes in competitive sports. South African sprinter Wayde van Niekerk wore this remarkable timepiece when he sprinted across the finish line to win the gold medal at the Rio Olympics, proving its robustness and reliability.

Inspired by racing car chassis, Richard Mille has integrated the movement’s skeletonized baseplate with the case through an ‘integrated’ design, significantly enhancing its shock resistance. To make the watch even lighter, Richard Mille collaborated with North Thin Ply Technology to develop a hard-wearing, ultra-light quartz fiber material for the case, giving the watch the weight of a piece of paper and a rugged Damascus steel-like texture.

Visible through the sapphire crystal, the movement features a floating tourbillon at 6 o’clock and Richard Mille’s unique fast-rotating barrel at 12 o’clock, which provides a power reserve of up to 52 hours while improving energy efficiency by 20% during the initial winding phase.

The white bezel, secured by 12 Grade 5 titanium screws, complements the orange strap and red crown. For enhanced readability, the tips of the hour and minute hands are highlighted in bright orange-yellow.

This watch features a full carbon fiber case, sapphire crystal caseback, carbon fiber dial, floating tourbillon movement with 19 jewels, power reserve indicator, woven strap, titanium alloy clasp, and is water-resistant up to 50 meters, embodying complex functionality with its tourbillon design.
