The Richard Mille RM12-01 NTPT Tourbillon is a stunning example of horological innovation, combining the iconic RM012 movement with pioneering material technology. Exclusively available in America, this remarkable timepiece comes in various limited editions.
The RM12-01 Tourbillon’s case structure adheres to a tri-principle design, seamlessly integrating all components. Its movement draws inspiration from architectural designs, featuring tubular inclined structures that offer optimal stiffness, torsion resistance, and exceptional heat and corrosion resilience.
Functionally and visually, the baseplate uniquely merges with the components and bridges to form a technically cohesive whole. The movement is proudly displayed through perfect combinations of polishing techniques, including grinding, satin, circular, and high polishing, inspired by race car chassis.
One notable feature is the sharp, streamlined curve of the skeleton bridges surrounding the barrel, gear train, and tourbillon, culminating in a manually wound movement. The limited RM12-01 editions are housed in cases approximately 51x42x15mm, available in Black Carbon TPT, Red Quartz TPT, and White Quartz TPT.
