Introducing the strikingly bold new piece from Richard Mille, the RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson. This tourbillon watch is designed in collaboration with professional golfer Bubba Watson and features a unique pink theme inspired by Watson’s beloved PING driver. The vibrant style of the watch is sure to bring joy to its wearer.
The bezel and case back of the RM 38-02 are crafted from pink and white quartz TPT combined with carbon fiber, while the case middle is made from a mix of carbon fiber and pink quartz TPT, showcasing a distinct interwoven pattern unique to each watch. The tonneau-shaped case fits snugly and comfortably on the wrist, while the crown is playfully modeled after a golf ball, adding a touch of whimsy.
The open-worked dial allows the wearer to fully appreciate the movement’s operation, with a V-shaped skeletonized bridge that spans the dial. The hand-painted pink design on the bridge echoes the head of Bubba Watson’s driver. The tourbillon, positioned at 6 o’clock, can withstand up to 10,000 Gs of impact, ensuring stable performance even during high-speed swings by professional golfers.
The RM 38-02 is powered by a manually-wound movement, operating at a frequency of 28,800 vph with a power reserve of 52 hours. The movement features a skeletonized baseplate made from carbon fiber for exceptional shock resistance, while the bridges are constructed from durable Grade 5 titanium, and the case back is accented with pink elements.
