Richard Mille RM59-01 Tourbillon Review: A Green Lizard Watch Masterpiece!

The Richard Mille RM59-01 Tourbillon, known as the Green Lizard, stands proudly among the brand’s timepieces with its unique design, crafted specifically for sports enthusiasts.

The watch case is a new interpretation of Richard Mille’s beloved tonneau shape, with an innovative extension between the 2 and 5 o’clock positions. This design avoids friction between the crown and wrist, ensuring utmost wearing comfort. With dimensions of 51.10 x 43.10 x 15.20 mm, the case is made from TPT carbon fiber composite, a material known for its high strength, lightweight, and durability.

The most striking feature is the bright, iconic four-pronged bridges on the dial. These bridges offer exceptional flexibility, holding the entire movement firmly to reduce external shocks and protect the watch from damage.

The watch is powered by a manual winding tourbillon movement, with a power reserve of approximately 48 hours and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The optimized gear system and variable inertia balance wheel ensure top-notch performance, regularity, and an excellent balance of power reserve.

The watch also features a sapphire crystal glass mirror with double anti-reflective treatment, with a thickness of 1.2 mm in the center and 1.95 mm at the edges. The imported fluororubber strap is both wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, providing soft and comfortable wear.
