Richard Mille RM68-01: A Graffiti Art Masterpiece on Your Wrist!

Discover the exquisite fusion of art and mechanics with the Richard Mille RM68-01 Tourbillon, a unique creation crafted in collaboration with renowned Brazilian graffiti artist Cyril Kongo. This extraordinary timepiece showcases the vibrant strokes of street art, meticulously hand-painted on its titanium components, providing a visual feast for the eyes.

The RM68-01 features a subtly modified barrel-shaped case made from 5-grade titanium, complemented by NTPT carbon fiber rings and a black ceramic bezel. Its ultra-thin profile measures just 14mm, offering both aesthetic appeal and comfort.

At the 6 o’clock position lies the tourbillon, elegantly framed by arrow-shaped hands with a smooth arc contour. The intricate graffiti on the movement bridges adds a splash of color and character to the watch, making every glance at the dial an artistic experience.

Creating graffiti on the delicate movement parts required Cyril Kongo to experiment for over a year with specialized tools and pigments. Utilizing a spray gun capable of dispersing minute droplets, Kongo ensures the paint adheres perfectly to the titanium surfaces, unaffected by assembly and disassembly while maintaining its vibrant hue.

The RM tourbillon movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 vph and offers a power reserve of 48 hours. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the decorative base plate is visible, radiating graffiti patterns from the center outward, mimicking the explosive impact of paint on a wall.

The Richard Mille RM68-01 is an ingenious blend of cutting-edge watchmaking and street art, embodying the spirit of modern artistry on the wrist.
