Richard Mille has introduced a striking new creation: the RM 38-02 Tourbillon Bubba Watson watch, inspired by the world of golf. This unique timepiece is a collaboration with professional golfer Bubba Watson and reflects his passion for the sport with its vibrant pink theme.
The watch features a bezel and case back crafted from pink and white quartz TPT, while the central case is made from carbon fiber mixed with pink quartz TPT, resulting in a unique interwoven pattern for each case. The tonneau-shaped case is designed for optimal comfort and a snug fit on the wrist, and the crown is cleverly designed to resemble the dimples of a golf ball, adding an interesting touch.
With its fully open dial, wearers can enjoy an unobstructed view of the watch’s movement. The skeletonized bridge forms a bold ‘V’ shape across the dial, adorned with hand-painted pink motifs inspired by Bubba Watson’s golf club head. The tourbillon at 6 o’clock is engineered to withstand impacts of up to 10,000g, ensuring precise performance even during high-speed golf swings.
Powered by the manual winding RM 38-02 caliber, the watch operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 52-hour power reserve. This movement features a carbon fiber skeletonized baseplate and boasts exceptional shock resistance. The bridges are made from robust Grade 5 titanium, with even the back of the watch integrated with pink elements as part of its decoration.
