The process begins with achieving the perfect black hue to reflect the Porsche’s glossy paint. This step is a delicate art, as even a slight overfire can ruin the color, resulting in a low production success rate.

Further complicating the endeavor is the challenge of applying enamel to surfaces; printing detailed content on the dial is incredibly demanding. The dial must accommodate the speedometer, fuel gauge, and oil temperature gauge within three small sub-dials, alongside a large tachometer scale.

Intricate details such as the cursive ‘993 Carrera’ and the owner’s yellow license plate ‘SF LOVE’ add to the complexity. Achieving the final design required discarding 50 dial blanks before successfully crafting three high-quality pieces.
